E is for… Evidence

E is for… Evidence

You should be able to back up your accomplishments with evidence. Throughout the year you should keep documentary evidence of your achievements. This will enable you to give your boss any evidence / contextual details that they need to understand your performance.  Keep a record of any letters, emails, certificates, awards, etc. that document exemplary performance since your last appraisal.

It can also be a great confidence boost.

This evidence can then be used to complete your appraisal form and inform discussions with your boss during your appraisal meeting.

This evidence can also be used to document and build up a record of any training or development activities you completed.
