This is a day where everyone is encouraged to unplug and step away from technology and unnecessary stresses and enjoy some quiet time. Take a step back from your usual busy everyday life.
Unplug from your devices and do something different with your spare time. Do something non-screen based with your time such as reading a book, cooking, visiting friends, going for a walk, writing in your journal, catching up on sleep.
Switching off every once in a while helps to improve our health and wellbeing, so why not try unplugging for National Simplicity Day… and if it goes well, why not incorporate it more regularly into your usual routine.
