Write a Stress List

You can use your Prompt Journal to problem-solve recurring stress in your life. Here is a quick exercise that you can do to help.

Step 01: Brain Dump

What are the things that cause you stress in your life? Write all these down as a list in your journal.

Step 02: Write an Action

Write down one definite action you will take to remedy the stress.

What action could you take to stop the stress occurring? Is there a process you could implement? Do you need to change your behaviour? Write at least one action for each stress point.

Step 03: Do it.

Do something in relation to each action. Do something, schedule something or delegate. Whatever it is you do – take some positive action.

Not everything will have an instant fix, but if you write some action points and do them over time, you should help your stress levels.

Repeat and review this exercise on a regular basis as well as tracking progress on your action points.
