Do you know how to you use it?

There is a trend for the requirement for people to become more self-sufficient. To work late. To work agile. To be able to do this effectively we need to be able to do things ourselves in the circumstances where we can’t delegate in the usual way.

Skill Development Plan

It can be quite simple to polish up those skills. Just identify what you do on a daily basis (and what you normally delegate). Identify if you delegate because you don’t know how to actually do it. If so, are you likely to ever need to do it? If so – you might want to pop it on the list to learn how to do it.

Don’t overlook basic administrative skills when putting together your Skills Development Plan.
