If you work in an office it is likely that you will have a photocopier (among other standard office and administrative equipment). Do you know how to use it? Don’t overlook getting to grips with administrative skills when settling into a new job.
While we are big fans of delegation. There is a trend for the requirement for people to become more self-sufficient. To work late. To work agile. To be able to do this effectively we need to be able to do things ourselves in the circumstances where we can’t delegate in the usual way.
